Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon celebrates banner year.

The locally owned Hayden Homes Amphitheater has been bringing world-class music to Bend since 2002. The amphitheater is Oregon’s largest outdoor venue accommodating 8,000 concertgoers on a grassy infield offering horizon views of the Cascades — a spectacular space to support live music and top-notch musicians.

A local crew of more than 800 seasonal employees works hard to create a welcoming space for patrons and artists to make lifelong memories. From Mavis Staples freestyling backstage and Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale running through the crowd mid-song; to Maren Morris declaring her team’s love for Bend and Train lead singer Patrick Monahan pulling his son on stage for a duet; to Danielle Ponder’s entire performance and ODESZA’s electric dance party….our 2022 Les Schwab Tires Concert Series was the most robust to date. We’re proud to have shared so many incredible moments with more than two hundred thousand fellow fans.

It’s never too early to start planning.

Building off last summer’s historic run of shows, the Hayden Homes Amphitheater is in full swing putting together its 2023 Les Schwab Tires Concert Series lineup.

Indie rock favorites Death Cab for Cutie has already announced they’ll play the amphitheater on Saturday, June 17, and dozens of other shows are in the process of being booked. In 2022 the Hayden Homes Amphitheater hosted standup comedy and electronic dance music for the first time, in addition to a host of indie rock, pop, country, reggae, and more.

“We’re thrilled to be able to host shows that haven’t made their way to Central Oregon before,” says Beau Eastes, the amphitheater’s marketing director. “It feels like the music scene in Bend is really growing and expanding and we’re excited to be part of that evolution.”

The Green Team’s Take Note Initiative.

The Hayden Homes Amphitheater is also hailed as an industry leader in sustainability for its Take Note Initiative. Our local Green Team works diligently to reduce our environmental impact in various ways including the use of a water fill station for reusable water bottles, compostable cups and utensils, cashless points of payment, multiple bike racks, and separate receptacles for recycling, compost and trash. In fact, this season our Green Team sorted through 4,550 bags of trash and diverted 85,000 pounds of food waste from the landfill to compost. This is a whopping 76.85% waste diversion, helping keep our landfills clear of methane-producing food waste and relocating it to compost to be used by local farmers. We thank you all for doing your part to help us, too.

At Hayden Homes Amphitheater we love live music. Add in the beauty of our signature Central Oregon sunsets nestled along the banks of the Deschutes River, and this is music the way it’s meant to be experienced. Please come for the music, stay for the memories and know that we are glad you’re a part of our community!
