Alternative rockers Young the Giant, known for songs “My Body,” “Mind Over Matter” and “Cough Syrup,” are on the road this summer celebrating the release of their latest album “American Bollywood.” This marks the band’s fifth studio album and first since 2018’s “Mirror Master.” The new album is structured after the ancient Sanskrit Hindu text of The Mahabharata (part of the Bhagavad Gita). The band’s front man and creative force, Sameer Gadhia learned about those tales by way of Mumbai-based comic books and graphic novels with their serialized depiction of religious legends and folklore.

In regard to the band’s name, Gadhia says, “We still believe in the power of being young, naïve, innocent and optimistic. We always try to find the beauty in things.” Young the Giant consists of Sameer Gadhia (vocals, percussion), Jacob Tilley (guitar), Eric Cannata (guitar), Payam Doostzadeh (bass) and François Comtois (drums).

Milky Chance first made waves with 2013’s breakout hit “Stolen Dance.” Ten years, multiple albums and millions of streams later, longtime German friends Clemens Rehbein and Philipp Dausch have toured the world and been nominated for several European awards. Their sophomore album “Blossom” -- which was released in early 2017 -- saw the duo pushing their sound further in new directions. A third full-length, “Mind the Moon,” arrived in November 2019 and included the single "Daydreaming" featuring Tash Sultana. Milky Chance kicked off the next decade with the 2020 single "Don't Let Me Down," a collaboration with singer/songwriter Jack Johnson. 2021's "Colorado" served as the lead single for their next project, “Trip Tape.” Released in November 2021, “Trip Tape” consisted of remixes of previously recorded material along with cover songs by a range of artists from Nirvana to the Kid LAROI. A companion set, “Trip Tape II,” followed in October 2022 and included the single "Troubled Man."
